Pig Ring Pliers

Hardened steel Pig Ring Pliers are used to tighten stainless steel rings around shock cord for permanent installation without burring. The pliers snout has grooves at the correct depth for holding rings in place. Open the jaws and position the hog ring with one hand, then squeeze the comfortable handles closed to crimp the pig ring.  The Red handle pliers are typically used by most in the crabbing industry for pig ring installation on crab traps.  The Black handle pliers have a tighter/smaller groove for accommodating smaller rings than the Red.
